1-1/2" backset Interconnected deadbolt & deadlatch mechanism for narrow stile storefront type doors. Includes Curved Lever style. Dark Bronze Finish. Retrofits Adams Rite MS1850S Deadbolts and 4900 series Deadlatches using the same backset. 1-3/4" minimum door thickness is required. The Dual Force 2190 combines the access control capabilities of a latch with the security of a deadbolt. A key retracts and extends the deadbolt and deadlatch from either side. -- key cylinder (not included). A thumbturn cylinder can be installed inside if desired (sold separately). The exterior lever retracts the latchbolt only; the inside lever retracts the latchbolt and deadbolt simultaneously for fast, easy panic-proof egress. Complies with most life-safety codes, please check with your local inspector. The latchbolt has a 5/8" throw and is made of solid brass. Can be reversed using only a screwdriver to make installation for left or right handed doors a snap. Includes an auxiliary deadlatch pin made of stainless steel to prevent shimming of the latchbolt. The deadbolt has a full 1" throw and is made of stainless steel. Dimensions: Outside trim: 8.9"H x 1.87"W x 1.1" D Lever centerline is 2.683" from top of trim housing. Inside: 8.9"H x 1.34"W x 1"D. Lever centerline is 2.683" from top of trim housing. Curved lever extends 3.1" from face of door and 5" from center to outside edge of lever. Round lever extends 3.3" from face of door and 4.55" center to outside. Square lever extends 2.8" from door face and is 4.35" from centerline of lever hub to outside edge of lever. Faceplates: 1" x 6-7/8" faceplate can be adjusted for flat, beveled in either direction or radius (for double doors).
